Toward quantum repeaters based on diamond NV centers under zero field, we improved the fidelity of deterministic Bell-state measurement between an electron spin and a nitrogen nuclear spin. By enhancing the photon collection efficiency through solid immersion lens fabrication, an average Bell-state measurement fidelity of 75% was achieved. We also analyze the factors limiting the fidelity and discuss the potential for further improvement through repeated readout.
