Laser-induced graphitization of polymer materials enables the direct writing of conductive porous structures in arbitrary shapes. This presentation outlines fabrication techniques for graphitic carbon and functional nanostructures, and introduces our research on hybrid material composites and electrical property control. Furthermore, device fabrications as applied studies and the single-step direct writing of bilayer structures with metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) will also be presented.
