In this study, we focus on the misfit layered compound (SnSe)m(NbSe2)n, which consists of alternating stacks of insulating SnSe layers and superconducting 2H-NbSe2 layers. Because the NbSe2 layers are pseudo-thinned by the insertion of SnSe layers, unusual superconducting properties are expected. We performed soft point-contact spectroscopy on single crystals grown by a molten-salt flux method to evaluate the layer-number, temperature, and magnetic-field dependences of the superconducting gap.
