We attempted to fabricate a jointless thermal diode using a partially bent Pb solid wire. A thermal diode achieves thermal rectification by exploiting the directional dependence of heat flow under a temperature gradient. In this study, we focused on the property that the thermal conductivity of high-purity Pb wire exhibits anisotropic suppression depending on the magnetic field direction below the superconducting transition temperature. A highest thermal rectification ratio (TRR) of 1.4 was obtained for the 50%-bent sample. The jointless structure also demonstrated the effectiveness of length ratio adjustment.
