tmospheric-pressure plasma jets based on dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) have attracted considerable attention for applications in medical and biological fields. In this study, we investigated the effects of the voltage rise rate (dV/dt) of a unipolar rectangular voltage on the emission intensity and propagation velocity of a surface-launched plasma bullet developed in our laboratory. ICCD camera observations revealed that variations in dV/dt significantly affect the emission distribution and propagation behavior of the plasma bullet. The experimental results and the underlying mechanisms will be presented and discussed.
