With the aim of understanding the mechanisms of textile dyeing that lead to reduced environmental impact, we investigated the effects of low-temperature atmospheric-pressure plasma treatment on the dyeability of polyester fabrics. After treating the fabric with a plasma jet, we conducted dyeing experiments, decomposed the results into the Lab color space, and analyzed the a* value, which represents the red component. Compared to untreated fabric, the a* value increased, confirming a deep-dyeing effect.
