We developed a super-compact high-voltage, high-frequency driver for atmospheric-plasma using a newly designed small high-voltage transformer. The circuit,implemented on a hand-sized board with a switching power IC, steps up about 12 V to around 10 kV. By varying the input frequency, we evaluated voltage waveforms and plasma-jet discharge characteristics. A uniform, stable line-shaped discharge with emission was obtained on a strip electrode, indicating suitability for paractical surface-treatment applications.
