The advances in organic electronic materials, characterization techniques, organic thin films, and optoelectronic devices fostered within the M&BE Division have established an important foundation for the development of organic electronics, spanning the understanding of material properties, elucidation of device operation, and expansion into practical applications. This symposium aims to reaffirm the academic significance of these accumulated achievements, provide a broad overview of the current state of the field from the perspectives of both characterization technologies and device development, and discuss future directions for research.
