Dr. Mohit is an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the Hammel Neuro Centre,Aarhus University, Denmark. He is a qualified dentist with a specialization in swallowingdisorders and holds a PhD in oral rehabilitation. With over 15 years of academic experience,his expertise spans dysphagia, orofacial function, and special care dentistry. Hehas authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to several bookchapters, and edited two academic volumes. His research focuses on the intersectionsof oral health, swallowing disorders, orofacial dysfunction, and rehabilitation science.As a principal investigator, he leads translational projects that connect oral careand dysphagia management with neurorehabilitation. His work has garnered over 1,000citations, underscoring its global impact in clinical dysphagia and oral physiology.He has delivered invited, keynote, and guest lectures across Europe, Asia, and NorthAmerica. Additionally, he organizes interdisciplinary workshops and continuing educationprograms for healthcare professionals. Dr. Mohit advocates a “bench to bedside” approachto improve functional outcomes in vulnerable and neurologically impaired populations.
