Progress of the Action Plan for Promotion of Production and Utilization of Medical Radioisotopes and the Expert Committee

放射性医薬品を取り巻く環境は，従来の核医学診断を中心とした時代から，診断（Diagnostics）と治療（Therapy）を統合するセラノスティクス，さらには核医学治療の本格的な社会実装を見据えた新たな段階へと移行しつつある。特に，がん領域を中心に，標的分子を可視化し，同じ生物学的標的に対して治療を行う放射性医薬品の開発は世界的に急速に進展しており，日本においても，患者さんに最先端の診断と治療の選択肢を届けるための環境整備が喫緊の課題となっている。&lt;br/&gt;一方で，放射性医薬品の社会実装には，医薬品開発のみならず，RIの安定供給，国内製造基盤，品質保証，物流，臨床開発，薬事，診療報酬，PET診断・核医学治療を提供する医療機関の体制，人材育成，放射線管理，地域アクセスなど，幅広い課題が複合的に存在する。これらは一学会，一企業，一医療機関のみで解決できるものではなく，行政，学会，医療現場，産業界が一体となった産官学連携の枠組みが不可欠である。&lt;br/&gt;本セッションでは，原子力委員会による医療用等RI製造・利用推進アクションプランおよび「放射性医薬品の開発・製造・利用の促進及びサプライチェーン強化に関する専門部会」の進捗を踏まえ，核医学診療・核医学治療の医療提供体制に関する課題，ならびに放射性医薬品に関する国家戦略の早期実装に向けた提言を共有する。さらに，RI供給・放射性医薬品製造・医療提供体制の一体整備，産官学連携による患者アクセス改善，そして日本が放射性医薬品分野で国際競争力を持つための勝ち筋について総合討論を行う。&lt;br/&gt;本企画を通じて，放射性医薬品と核医学治療を日本の医療，科学技術，産業基盤の重要な柱として位置づけ，患者さんに新たな診断・治療の選択肢を届けるための具体的な連携と政策実装の方向性を議論したい。
