[ISPL-01]The Value of Robotics and other New Technology in Knee Arthroplasty
*David Anthony Parker

Associate Professor Parker is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in disorders and surgery of the knee joint. He has particular interests in robotic knee replacement surgery, sports injuries and ligament reconstruction surgery, and surgery to realign and restore the knee joint. He works in Sydney at Royal North Shore, North Shore Private and Mater Hospitals, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney.
He established the Sydney Orthopaedic Research Institute in 2002, and has over 130 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, plus multiple chapters for orthopaedic textbooks, and was awarded the AOA prize for services to orthopaedic research in 2021. He is on the editorial board for several journals, the immediate past president of ISAKOS, past president of APKASS and a past board member of the ACL Study Group.
