多職種におけるPEACEの位置づけと今後

PEACE プロジェクトは、がん対策基本計画に基づき、平成 20 年に厚生労働省から日本緩和医療学会へ委託され開始された、我が国の基本的緩和ケア卒後教育を担う中核的事業である。e-learning の導入や学習内容の拡大などを重ねながら、社会や医療の変化に応じて形を変え、約 20 年間にわたり日本の基本的緩和ケア教育を支えてきた。診療報酬とも連動し、これまでに 20 万人以上が修了しており、基本的緩和ケアの普及に大きく貢献してきた。近年は、緩和ケアが本来疾患を特定した概念ではないことを踏まえ、対象をがん以外の疾患へ広げるとともに、当初医師を対象に開発された教育を多職種へと拡大し、診療報酬改定を背景に心理職等の参加も増加している。本シンポジウムでは、その歩みを振り返り、2025 年 11 月に発出された緩和ケア研修会開催指針の一部改正後の現状と課題を共有し、持続可能な基本的緩和ケア教育の今後の方向性を考える。
