「緩和ケア別編」ハイライト①：基本的緩和ケアと包括的緩和ケア

一般社団法人日本集中治療医学会

救急・集中治療領域における終末期の意思決定には、患者の価値観や予後の不確実性、倫理的・法的課題が複雑に絡み合う。2014 年に 3 学会より提言されたガイドラインは基本的枠組みを示してきたが、今回約 10 年ぶりに日本緩和医療学会が加わった4学会ガイドラインとして改訂作業が進んでいる。今回の改訂では「緩和ケア別編」が新設され、実際にどのような緩和ケアを実践するかがより具体的に記載されている。本シンポジウムでは、基本的緩和ケア、包括的評価、症状緩和、家族・医療者支援、倫理的および法的側面の観点からその要点と実践上の留意点を提示し、現場での活用について議論する。緩和ケアの質向上と意思決定支援の実装に資する知見の共有を目的とする。
