実際のところ、緩和ケアにAIは使えるのか？〜推進派の視点から探る、望ましい活用ケースと医療者の心理的ハードル〜

生成 AI の急速な普及により、患者が AI に医療情報や心理的支援を求める機会が増えつつある。緩和ケア領域においても、症状相談、将来の治療や療養に関する意思決定、価値観の整理など、患者と医療者の対話を補助する可能性が指摘されている。一方で、AI が提示する情報の妥当性や倫理的課題、患者と医療者の関係性への影響についても慎重な検討が必要である。本セッションでは「AI にがん患者カウンセリングはどこまで可能か」という問いを出発点に、 AI 活用を推進する立場（Pros）と慎重な立場（Cons）の双方から議論を行う。症状相談、ACP における価値観整理、治療継続・治療中止の意思決定、終末期における実存的苦痛対応という 4 つの場面を事例に、AI が患者の不安や疑問にどこまで応答できるのか、また AI による支援が医療者との対話を補完し得るのかを多職種の視点から検討し、AI 時代における緩和ケアの対話のあり方を展望する。
