アウトカム基盤型教育における卒前緩和ケア教育 ―何を、どのように教育すべきか―

一般社団法人日本医学教育学会

医学教育はアウトカム基盤型教育に基づいて実施されている。緩和ケア教育においてもアウトカムの設定が不可欠である。文部科学省が定める医学教育モデル・コア・カリキュラムでは、医学生の必修内容に「専門知識に基づいた問題解決能力」「総合的に患者・生活者をみる姿勢」が挙げられ、その中に「緩和ケア」が明記されている。卒前教育はこの指針に沿って展開されているが、各大学で緩和医療の教育状況やカリキュラムは異なっている。緩和医療学講座が設置されていない大学があり、設置されていてもマンパワー不足に悩んでいる講座がある。卒前教育方法に悩んでいる教育者が多いのではないだろうか。本シンポジウムでは、医学教育のプロフェッショナルである日本医学教育学会と合同で、緩和ケア教育では何をアウトカムとして何をどう教育するか、少ない教育資源でどのようにアウトカムを達成したらよいのか、ノウハウについてフロアも含めて議論したい。
