がんと腎不全を併存する患者に対するエンドオブライフ期の緩和ケアの課題と実践

一般社団法人日本がん看護学会

がんは慢性疾患のひとつと捉えられるようになった。一方がん患者の高齢化は進み心血管疾患や腎疾患などの生活習慣病の併存及び多剤併用のがん治療の有害事象による腎機能障害や心機能障害を発症するリスクが高まっている。さらに、がん患者ががんではなく、非がん疾患の進行が死因となる可能性も高いという問題に直面している。施策においては、緩和ケア診療加算に身体症状又は精神症状をもつ末期心不全患者が対象となり、現在は腎不全患者の緩和ケアの体制整備の検討もなされている。新たな緩和ケアの展開には医学的な診療科間の連携のみならず、看護においても各分野の専門性の高い看護師が連携、協働してケアを創造していくことが不可欠となる。<br>本合同シンポジウムでは、併存症をもつがん患者に対するエンドオブライフ期の緩和ケアの課題を専門看護師あるいは認定看護師の見地から明らかにし、ケアの質向上への連携、協働のあり方を熟考する機会としたい。
