地域に根差した小児緩和ケアを担う多様な人材を育む

一般財団法人日本小児在宅医学会

医療的ケア児の増加により小児在宅医療のニーズは拡大する一方、それを支える医師だけでなく多職種・非医療職を含む人材の供給が追いつかない現状があり、その人材の育成は喫緊の課題となっている。また、高度な在宅医療のスキルだけでなく、病院・在宅、成人・小児を横断し連携する視野を持ち、がん・非がんの QOL の維持や意思決定支援を担う「小児緩和ケア」の視点を併せ持つ人材の育成は重要である。このシンポジウムでは、在宅医療の最前線で日々奮闘するクリニックの医師、大学病院で教育・研究を担う医師、そして総合病院で緩和ケアを担う医師が各々の立場から、地域の特異性、現場や病院との相互理解と人材交流を軸に「関わる人を増やす」ことを共通メッセージとする。日本緩和医療学会と一昨年発足した日本小児在宅医学会がタッグを組み、人材育成の具体的な取り組み、直面する障壁、そしてキャリアパスの構築について、多角的に議論する。
