がんで親を亡くす子ども～診断の日から始まる日常の喪失と支援～

「こども」が亡くなることは、家族、特に親に深く重い悲しみをもたらす。しかし、悲しみの中にいるのは親だけではない。共に育ったきょうだい、祖父母、友人、そして傍らで支え続けた医療者もまた、それぞれの立場で喪失と、それに伴うグリーフを抱えている。<br>また、グリーフは死別という結果にのみ生じるものではない。子育て中の親が病に伏したとき、親と子の双方が日常の変容という喪失に直面する。病気や障害の診断を受けたその瞬間から、本人・家族・地域の支援者もまた、喪失を経験し、グリーフを抱え始めるのである。グリーフは「死」に限定されず、変容していく日常のなかに遍在するともいえる。<br>本シンポジウムでは「こども」を中心におき、小児がんを患うこども、親が闘病中のこども、そして彼らを支える家族・医療者・地域支援者という多様な視点から、グリーフケアの在り方を多角的に検討する。それぞれの立場に応じた支援について、ともに模索する場としたい。
