長期的視点から考える先天性心疾患の緩和ケア

非がん領域の小児緩和ケアは、がん領域と比べて介入開始の時期が明確ではないことが多く、痛み以外にも多様な症状への対応が求められます。また、症状や重症度の幅が大きく、予後の見通しが立てにくい中で個別性が高い対応を要することも珍しくありません。さらに子どもの発達や日常生活への支援を行い、長期にわたって関わり続ける点も大きな特徴です。そのため、家族全体に寄り添いながら、子どもを多職種で支えていく視点がより重要となります。本シンポジウムでは、周産期・新生児領域における胎児期を含めた意思決定支援、小児集中治療領域における救命治療から緩和ケアへの移行、先天性心疾患領域における長期的視点からの支援、さらに在宅医療や地域における生活支援やグリーフケアなどについて、具体的な症例を交えながら共有いただきます。<br>非がん領域ならではの支援のあり方を学び、皆さまとともに考える機会としたいと思います。
