がん患者における経済毒性の実態と相談体制に関する検討：がん患者1,117名のアンケート調査結果より

慢性疼痛は患者の生活の質（QOL）を著しく低下させ、日常生活や睡眠、精神面に影響を及ぼすだけでなく、就労や社会参加を制限する重要な課題である。その結果、医療費の増大に加え、労働生産性の低下や社会保障費の増加といった経済的影響も生じ、個人の問題を超えた社会的課題となっている。<br>本シンポジウムでは、慢性疼痛が直接的医療費および間接的費用に与える影響を整理し、その医療経済的インパクトを明らかにする。また、早期かつ適切な疼痛管理が症状の長期化を防ぎ、健康寿命の延伸や社会参加の維持、さらには医療費の適正化にどのように寄与し得るかを議論する。さらに、がん医療で注目される「経済毒性」の視点も踏まえ、症状緩和と経済的負担軽減を統合的に捉える枠組みを提示し、社会に貢献する疼痛医療のあり方を展望する。
