Just as all tissues are constructed by self-renewal and differentiation of stem cells, cancer tissues are also constructed by self-renewal and differentiation of cancer stem cells. In recent years, research using three-dimensional culture systems to reproduce this process in vitro has been actively conducted worldwide. This field is now attracting the attention of not only basic scientists but also industrial sectors. In this symposium, we will introduce cutting-edge research results in this field.<br>
