Development of Novel Experimental Setup Beyond Traditional Test Tube Experiments and Practical Application to Drug Discovery

In the field of academic drug discovery, the intellectual property on the academic side isn't just limited to the drugs themselves. Companies see value in unique drug targets, know-how, and Proof Of Concept (POC). However, academia doesn't seem to place much emphasis on these intellectual properties. They've somewhat reduced patents to a mere 'pre-paper formality'. This approach hinders the growth of open innovation, and right now, academic drug discovery is in need of a significant shift. In this symposium, we aim to delve deeply into the practical aspects of drug discovery without the barriers between companies and universities. We've invited promising speakers to foster the advancement of academic drug discovery, striving to establish a foundation for mutual support through the latest technologies and research.<br>
