In recent years, many inherited GPI deficiency(IGD) patients have been discovered based on whole-exome sequencing technology. Current symposium will gather multidisciplinary scientists to discuss the latest research about GPI-anchor (a type of "sugar-fat" modification), including biosynthesis and modification of GPI-anchor in mammalian cells, the newly discovered roles of GPI protein, and the development of diagnosis and therapy strategy of IGD disease.<br>
