While Dr. Osler proposed " A man is as old as his arteries," the functions and mechanisms of blood vessels in the aging process of individuals remain largely unexplored. Blood vessels are distributed throughout the body and play important roles in maintaining homeostasis by supplying oxygen and nutrients to tissues. Furthermore, recent reports suggest that angiocrine factors secreted from vascular endothelial cells regulate the formation and maintenance of organs. In this symposium, we will present the recent research on the individual aging mechanisms starting from age-related vascular transformation, from the molecular to the individual level.
