Subdomain-mediated phase dynamics of neuronal RNA granules regulate local translation: A physical basis for memory and neurodegeneration

Co-hosted by ExCELLS Recent advances have revealed the pivotal role of membraneless organelles formed by liquid-liquid phase separation and inter-organelle contact structures in regulating cellular processes. These dynamic structures respond to environmental cues, enabling precise modulation of organelle and cellular functions. This symposium will present cutting-edge research on the dynamics and molecular mechanisms underlying these structures, highlighting their contributions to cellular function. We will also discuss the impact of advanced technologies in uncovering novel mechanisms of cellular function regulation.
