The raw material characterization of chromium bearing tailings after vanadium extraction was determined and analyzed, in addition, the feasibility of its recycling via adding it to chromium bearing vanadium and titanium magnetite vanadium titanium chromium intering mixture was studied and discussed. Assimilation characteristic, liquid phase fluidity characteristic, selfstrength of bonding phase and crystal intensity of chromium bearing tailings after vanadium extraction Crbearing tailings after vanadium extraction, vanadium titanium chromium and vanadium titanium chromium mixture with 1.0 percent to 3.0 percent Crbearing tailings after vanadium extraction addition was determined and analyzed based on microsintering method and the influencing and feasibility of adding chromium bearing tailings after vanadium extraction to vanadium titanium chromium mixture for recycling was discussed in the view of physical and chemical properties under high temperature, and verified via a sintering pot test. The results show that adding chromium bearing tailings after vanadium extraction to vanadium titanium chromium mixture could decrease the assimilation temperature and improve the liquid phase fluidity characteristic under high temperature,but it decreases the selfstrength of bonding phase and crystal intensity of sintering mixture.The sintering pot test shows vanadium titanium chromium sinter properties would degrade with chromium bearing tailings after vanadium extraction addition under current production conditions.
