Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) are valuable secondary raw material for metal recycling industries. WEEE also contains Al, SUS, and printed circuit board (PCB).
The objective of research is to develop a separation process that can effectively sort or separate Al, SUS, PCB, and Cu from WEEE. In this study, magnetic separation, eddy current separation and gravity separation of crushed WEEE were carried out to separate Al, SUS, and PCB from WEEE. After physical separation, the flowsheet design for separation process was also investigated.
