Evaluation of particle geometry is important for designing and optimizing of material separation techniques in many research and industrial areas. This study introduces a particle geometry evaluation method using image processing analysis and consideration of several shape factors of waste. The image processing method for contour analysis and geometrical shape fitting is designed in order to calculate particle geometry parameters from waste image samples.
