[NFS-03-4]Elucidating the pathogenesis of alpha-synucleinopathy using human brain single nucleus RNAseq
Kotaro Ogawa (Department of Neurology, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan)

Kotaro Ogawa is a neurologist specializing in genomic biology. He received his medical degree from Osaka University in 2011. After four years of experience in internal medicine and neurological treatment, he started PhD training with Prof. Hideki Mochizuki at Osaka University. In 2020, he received a Ph.D. degree in medicine. In 2021, he became a project assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Osaka University. In 2022, he was appointed assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Osaka University. He specializes in genomic and transcriptomic analysis of multifactorial genetic disorders in the brain and nervous system and is involved in multi-omics analysis of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease and multiple system atrophy.
