The U.S.-Japan Brain Research Cooperation Program (BRCP) is a program initiated in FY2000 to promote brain science research cooperation and exchange between the two countries. It is promoted under the U.S.-Japan Agreement on Cooperation in Science and Technology. Aimed at a wide range of researchers from basic to clinical research, the program has continued to provide (1) dispatch of joint researchers, especially for young researchers, (2) group joint research among prominent research groups, (3) information exchange seminars to develop new research areas, and (4) support for graduate students. This time, two researchers who achieved excellent cutting-edge research outcomes will talk about their experiences.
