Abstract: The analysis of IM-DD and coherent technologies for the next generation 100 and 200 Gb/s PONs is ongoing in G.SUP.VHSP. Numerous contributions to G.SUP.VHSP have been made to investigate receiver sensitivities to determine which loss budgets can be supported.
