Hollow core and microstructured fibers,Distributed fiber optical sensing, fibers and fiber devices for sensing

With a high-efficiency selective infusion method of hollow-core NANF, a cladding ring alcohol infusion-induced modal interference is generated, with an extinction ratio of 22 dB, enhancing the sensor’s temperature sensitivity to 0.82 nm/°C.
