The talk will present a new 6G fixed network concept involving flexible, scalable, high-capacity transmission to create mesh edge networks for ultra-energy-efficient, low-latency, and highly available services. This concept utilizes AI-native orchestration to manage mobile, fixed, and compute domains. The mesh networking will combine radio fixed wireless, free-space optical, and switched flex-grid wavelength division multiplexed transport, using optical spectrum-as-a-service and integrated sensing and communication.
