[MH2-2] Redundant-Bit-Free Error Correction Utilizing Short-Term Correlation in Oversampled Waveform in Underwater Optical Wireless Communications

A redundant-bit-free bit error correction, utilizing short-term correlation in received samples through 2× oversampling, is proposed. Experiments achieved 1.2 dB decoding gain for OOK in underwater optical wireless transmission by error correction without additional redundant bits.
