[S1-9]InP-based and III-V/Si Hybrid Photodetectors

We comprehensively review our InP-based and III-V/Si hybrid photodetectors for coherent transmission systems. The InP-based photodetectors with butt-joint coupled waveguide photodiodes offer both high-speed and high responsivity, while the III-V/Si hybrid approach reduces a footprint and enables multi-channel integration which is one of key points for future coherent transmission networks.
