We developed a precise model of EML, accurately reproducing its transmission performance. Theoretical results demonstrate over 2-km transmission around zero-dispersion wavelength, 1.5 km for LAN-WDM, and 700 m for CWDM at 452 Gb/s/lane PAM-4.
