Employing an external Littrow grating feedback of an ultra-narrow-linewidth DFBLD can enable the hysteresis wavelength and power hopping to provide a cross-channel coherent differential-phase-shift-keying (DPSK) injection-locking link via transient bias switching the master DFBLD.
