The first eye-safe 200-Gb/s indoor optical wireless access via carrier-assisted differential detection with double sideband complex-valued signals is demonstrated. Our experimental results show that a high SE of 3.28 bits/Hz can be achieved by using QAM modulation in self-coherent reception.
