We propose an octuple-fiber-ring based erbium fiber laser with wavelength-selectable single-longitudinal-mode output. A useful tuning range of 1520.0 to 1565.0 nm is achieved. And the measured 3-dB linewidth is 625 Hz over the tuning bandwidth.
