A novel Brillouin optical time-domain reflectometer using an adaptive frequency analysis (AFA) algorithm enhances spatial resolution by 2.5 times at 10 MHz frequency resolution compared to traditional methods and enables Brillouin phase spectrum (BPS) detection.
