The nonlinearity of coherent optical DAC transmitters is characterized using proposed bit-dependent impulse model, considering Rx-side DSPs with and without IQ imbalance compensation. Theoretical nonlinear SNRs and simulated ones align within 0.1dB across 25dB range.
