[WP-B-17] Use of All-optical AGC EDFA for the Suppression of Signal Fluctuation in Free-space Optical Transmission Systems

We found that all-optical automatic gain-controlled (AGC) erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) could suppress the optical signal fluctuation effectively with high (>0 dBm) feedback amplified spontaneous emission power even with low input signal power into EDFA.
