This study experimentally demonstrates the SSIM-enhancing advantage of partially coherent fields over completely coherent fields in complex underwater channels. Meanwhile, the Coherence shift-keying communication system achieves a SER of 8.1×10-2 and a BER of 2.1×10-2.
