【ねらい】 <br>自閉スペクトラム症や注意欠如・多動症をはじめとする神経発達症の当事者に対する支援が重要なのはもちろんですが，当事者を取り巻く人々への支援も非常に重要です．しかし，その対象は保護者に対するものがほとんどで，きょうだいに焦点をあてた支援はほとんどなされていないのが現状です．本シンポジウムでは，神経発達症児／者を持つきょうだいの特徴，きょうだい支援の現状や問題点，そしてわれわれ小児科医や小児神経科医にできる支援について考え，皆さんに「発達障がい者のきょうだい支援」に目を向けていただくことが「ねらい」です．
