Harnessing the potential of non-woody biomass in hydrogel development for drug delivery to the skin

FIP is the global body that represents pharmacy professionals including pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, and pharmacy educators The mission of FIP is to improve global health and well-being through the cooperative activities of BPP, BPS, and FIPEd. In 2016, powered by its close relationship with WHO, FIP adopted the Pharmaceutical Workforce Development Goals (PWDGs), a pharmacy version of the SDGs. In 2020, FIP DGs was adopted as the expansion of the PWDGs. FIP is currently working hard with its member organizations including PSJ for the achievement of the FIP DGs. For this purpose, FIP GPO (Global Pharmaceutical Observatory) has been devised as a powerful tool and database hub to indicate comprehensive aspects of the global pharmacy. In the past Annual Meeting of the PSJ, “FIP Forum” had been held as an opportunity to advocate activities of the FIP. In this meeting, the PSJ-FIP Joint Session is organized as a new primer of our expanding collaboration between the PSJ and FIP. In the “FIP Forum”, the outline of the FIP DGs and the corresponding activities in Japan as well as in the world will be introduced. In the following “New Generations of Pharmaceutical Scientists in Asia-Pacific Regions”, with specific focuses on DG1 (Academic Capacity) and DG2 (Early Career Training), oral presentations by young pharmaceutical scientists invited from the Asia–Pacific regions will be given for the promotion of exchanges of ideas and opportunities in the pharmaceutical science activities within the regions.
