Sat. Mar 26, 2022 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM UTC
Sat. Mar 26, 2022 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM UTC
[Room E] Reception Hall Bldg. 1: 4F
Organizer: Hirofumi Jono (Dept. Pharm. Sci., Kumamoto Univ. Hosp.), Masamitsu Maekawa (Dept. Pharm. Sci., Tohoku Univ. Hosp.)
Clinical chemistry is a field that aims to contribute to the elucidation of pathophysiology and treatment / prevention, as well as the practice of providing clinical chemistry tests based on analytical technology to medical care. In the field of pharmaceutical care, personalized medicine based on therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM), genome analysis information, and therapeutic biomarkers finding using mass analysis technology have been investigated recently. And so, the latest knowledge and concepts of clinical chemistry based on clinical tests are becoming indispensable.
This symposium is co-sponsored by the Japan Society for Clinical Chemistry with the aim of contributing to the medical field of clinical chemistry. In this session, we would like to introduce and discuss the latest findings and topics under the theme of "Development of new personalized therapies and biomarker tests aiming for the possibility of fusion of clinical chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences, which is indispensable for the practice of effective drug treatment.
