Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation (SPRING) program has been launched by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). The unique SPRING program by each university has supported and educated talented Ph-D students, while there are few opportunities to introduce or learn the detailed contents and achievements of the program. Therefore, we have organized the symposium by inviting the SPRING Scholarship Awardees, who major in medical and life sciences. This symposium would provide introductions of the training program by each university and its achievement. By sharing them, this opportunity for young researchers must expand their perspectives on research, carrier paths, and also their networks, regardless of whether they are the SPRING Scholarship Awardees or not. Furthermore, it is expected for young researchers to produce “the young researcher-driven challenging and interdisciplinary research and program that goes beyond existing frameworks” by their going beyond borders of fields and universities.
