The top reason for choosing a new job is "satisfaction." Over the course of three or five years of employment, one's position in the workplace and personal life will change, and one's responsibilities will also increase. As one gains experience, one's goals are likely to change. Is everyone living a healthy and positive life?
A win-win relationship where everyone is fulfilled is strongly influenced by the work environment. The low percentage of women in management positions and the low percentage of men taking parental leave, which have already been recognized as problems, reflect the state of Japanese society. Targeting people for management positions because they can generate more time in the workplace will create a further negative spiral in the workplace as the same kind of thinking is passed on as before. We are expected to work hard toward our goals, but this does not mean that we are forced to endure or make sacrifices.
In this symposium, we will obtain information from excellent companies that are tackling these issues in a progressive manner and finding solutions, as well as organize the current situation and issues in academia.
