Involvement of brain fatty acid binding protein 3 (FABP3) in pain regulation mechanisms.

Exploration of innovative treatment strategies is important in preventive care and therapy of disease. This contributes to the establishment of new treatment strategies and improves the quality of life (QOL) of patients. Young researchers should take on exploration of innovative treatment strategies with the new ideas and technologies, and challenge unsolved problems. This symposium will present the new research results by young researchers. Discussions with participants will further develop future research activities. Concretely, they will be speaking on basic and clinical topics such as "Involvement of fatty acid binding protein 3 (FABP3) in brain of pain regulation system," "Valproic acid treatment attenuates cisplatin-induced kidney injury," "Search for inhibitors of paclitaxel- induced peripheral neuropathy," and "Clinical, Research, and Education from the Clinical Pharmacist's Perspective". Furthermore, we hope that students who attend this symposium will become interested in research and be inspired to explore innovative treatment strategies in the future.
