Fabrication of human cultured cell-derived vascular graft

Session 1: Artificial vascular grafts are used for the reconstruction of blood vessels in patients with congenital heart disease. Currently available vascular grafts exhibit poor biocompatibility, which causes material degradation and excessive intimal proliferation. In addition, a lack of growth potential leads to reoperation. By applying hydrostatic pressure to human cultured cells, we established a method to fabricate high-strength vascular grafts. In vivo studies using rodent models, human cultured cell-derived vascular grafts showed good biocompatibility and growth potential. I will provide an overview of that in this seminar.<br>Session 2: Tsubakimoto Chain deliver automation solutions that enable our customers to realize their vision in drug discovery, life sciences, and regenerative medicine, backed by our proven material handling technologies and over 20 years of industry experience.
